ABOUT THE DIVISION
International activities are one of the key areas of Gorno-Altaisk State University's activity, aligning with the strategic tasks and priorities for the education system development in accordance with the objectives of the Russian Federation state policy in educational and scientific fields. The development of the University's international activities is a necessity of our time aimed at improving the overall education quality in line with modern global requirements.
The main components of Gorno-Altaisk State University's international activities include:
1. Participation in the state policy for the development of educational service exports from the Russian Federation;
2. Internationalization of the University’s educational and research activities;
3. Promotion of the University's image at the international level through presentations at international conferences;
4. Admission of foreign citizens to basic and supplementary educational programs;
5. Legal support for the stay of foreign students in the territory of the Russian Federation;
6. Organization of events to promote the adaptation of foreign citizens studying at the University;
7. Development of academic mobility for students, graduates and staff;
8. Implementation of international events;
9. Establishment of cooperation with foreign universities based on agreements;
10. Development and implementation of joint educational programs;
11 Hiring foreign teachers and researchers at Gorno-Altaisk State University;
12. Support for the Russian language abroad.
International activities of the University are implemented at the departments, chairs, centers and administrative units. The Department of Recruitment, Support and Academic Mobility of Foreign Students and the Department of International Cooperation and External Communications perform a coordinating function in the international activities of the University.
International activities at the University include interesting events such as international conferences, seminars and sports competitions as well as meetings with foreign partners, internships abroad.
All students and faculty members can participate in the international life of the University. Gorno-Altaisk State University is open to anyone interested in its educational, scientific, sports and youth international activities.
